Drills

A drill press is for heavy-duty stationary drilling. The drilling head is mounted on a rigid metal column, that is either bolted or stands on the workbench or stands on the floor. You can feed the bit into the work steadily using the handle - it isn't necessary to use excessive force when using sharp drill bits. All Draper bench drills have a "No-Volt" release switch - if the power is turned off at the mains the drill switches off - no nasty surprises when the mains switch is turn on again.
