Abbey Power Tools is the power tool division of Abbey Garden Machinery, based in Tavistock, Devon.
Abbey was established in 1976 when Steve John began repairing
and servicing mowers. The business soon flourished
and Steve also branched out into selling new machines.
During the 90's both of his sons chose to join their
dad in the business and help to expand the company.
We currently operate sales, service and repairs;
including warranty repairs, at our Tavistock and Plymouth
Centres.
Whilst we can supply any make and model we are authorised agents for Draper, Stiga, Mountfield, Masport, Wolf, Flymo, Jonsered, Shindaiwa, Tanaka, Shibaura, Harry, Ariens, Apache, Lawnstar, Bear Cat, Oleo-mac and Simplicity.
Our aim is simply to provide the right power tool for you. Our sales team have a wide experience and
are able to point you towards the perfect tool to match your needs. It's imperative to ensure that
the equipment is capable of doing what you require,
if it can't, then you have wasted your money. We want
to ensure that this does not happen.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All prices shown on this site are in GB Pounds Sterling.
Postage and Packaging
The cost of postage is calculated according to the total weight of products in your basket. This cost is clearly shown to you before you checkout.
Large or Heavy orders are sent using a Courier and MUST be signed for.
Our Courier will attempt to deliver three times - if you miss all three attempts then you are liable for paying extra carriage costs to re-ship your order.
Overseas sales will incur extra Postage costs, which will be shown in your shopping basket.
For any heavy items going to the United States, please email us for pricing information, but be warned - it is very expensive.
We only accept Cheques in Pound Sterling.
We regret that we currently do not ship any electrical items to the Republic of Ireland.
Delivery
Current Lead time on Delivery for the UK Mainland is 5-7 working days but please allow 10 days for your delivery. Please allow 10-21 days for all international deliveries.
Larger value (Over £100) or heavier (Over 5kg) orders from within the UK are sent direct from the Manufacturer and should only take around 3-4 days.
VAT
Price shown include VAT (Value Added Tax) which is chargeable on all items being shipped within the European Union. VAT is not charged when shipping outside the European Union. If you choose a shipping area outside the European Union, VAT will be deducted from the items in your basket and deducted from prices in the shop automatically. If you choose a shipping area within the European Union, all prices shown will include VAT.
Returns
If you are not happy with your purchase you have the right to cancel within seven days of your purchase, or seven days from the receipt of the goods (whichever is longer). If you cancel your order you will have your payment returned, minus a handling fee, provided you return the goods to us (at your expense) in perfect condition at the address shown on the contact us page. Before returning any goods please email our office for a returns number.
